It's normal to feel a bit wary about blood tests, especially those that involve pricking your finger. At OptimallyMe, we're committed to making this process as straightforward and comfortable as possible for you. It's crucial to follow the given instructions accurately to enhance satisfaction and ensure effective sample collection.
Lancet Positioning: Position the lancet slightly to the side of your fingertip, not directly in the middle.
Use of Lancet: After triggering the lancet, wait for 2-3 seconds before removing it to ensure a good puncture for the blood tests.
Standing Position: Stand while collecting the sample and let your hand hang down to promote blood flow towards your fingertips.
Collecting Blood:
Avoid excessive pressing. Instead, gently massage your finger downwards.
Wipe away the first drop of blood with an alcohol wipe. Begin collecting blood with the next drop for the blood tests.
If the blood flow stops, do not squeeze your finger. Try massaging it gently, and if needed, use a fresh lancet on another finger.
At OptimallyMe, we offer three types of tests:
Blood Test Kits: Essential for checking general health markers such as thyroid, liver, and kidney function, as well as hormones, minerals, and vitamins. Fasting is required.
Food Intolerance Kits: These determine food sensitivities by testing for IgG antibodies and do not require fasting.
Epigenetic DNA Methylation Tests: These assess organ-specific biomarkers for information about biological age and longevity, and it does not require fasting.
